A section of Rift Valley politicians are expected to have rallies across the rift counties campaigning for the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta tomorrow.
The caravan dubbed ‘Uhuruto Express will start from Baringo on Saturday then followed by Elgeyo Marakwet,Kericho,Bomet,Nandi,Uasingishu,Nakuru and West Pokot counties to urge the electorate to vote for Jubilee.
Led by Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi the leaders; Isaac Melly (Uasingishu), Dr Julius Kones (Bomet), Jackson Kiptanui (Elgeyo Marakwet), Bishop Jackson Kosgei and Prof Paul Bittok will be drumming support for Jubilee after another convoy of leaders camped in Baringo last week to campaign for Jubilee.
With 38 days remaining to the general election, the leaders who lost in Jubilee primaries will start their campaigns in Makutano junction and end in Kabarnet town in the evening.
