Jubilee campaigns in Baringo intensified as Jubilee nominees for various political positions from Rift valley united in seeking for votes for jubilee as the election edge closer.
Led by Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago the leaders castigated National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga for using and sowing division in his quest to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta.
They also took a swipe on NASA leader for his persistent accusations on Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) saying the High court or the electoral body will make him the president but the electorate.

Governor Jackson Mandago told off NASA saying they were desperate and now they have resorted to using underhand tactics to derail the election process.
“When IEBC is tendering the process of printing ballot papers Raila is busy on the courts trying to block ,I don’t know how he wants the election to carried out without ballot papers,” said Mandago.
While drumming up support for the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Jubilee candidates in the county urged the locals to vote for Jubilee in the August election.
“We want to tell Raila that the high court doesn’t make anyone the president but the electorate. Jubilee will not be intimidated by him going to court and daily accusations on IEBC since we will win by a landslide,”said Caleb Kositany who is vying for Belgut parliamentary seat on Jubilee ticket..
They exuded confidence that Jubilee will retain power and NASA will face the worst defeat ever.
“We have got numbers in most counties and we will win by over 12 million votes not only in our strong holds but even in the opposition zones. Jubilee score card speaks for itself,”said Rongai Mp hopeful Kibet Komen.
Leaders ; Alex Tolgos (Governor Elgeyo Marakwet) ,Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho Senate), Mishra Kiprop(Kesses Mp aspirant), Stanley Kiptis (Baringo Gubernatorial aspirant), David Kerich (Baringo Central aspirant) and Gladys Shollei (Uasingishu Women Representative aspirant ) among others traversed the county seeking votes for Jubilee.
Bomet County Women Representative aspirant Joyce Korir urged the Kalenjin community to turn up in large numbers to vote for Uhuruto. She also accused Bomet governor Isaac Rutto who is among NASA principals for turning against the community.
“We are solidly behind Deputy President William Ruto till 2022 when he will be vying for Presidency and we want to tell Isaac who has been coerced by Raila to join the opposition will lose terribly in the elections for going against the wishes of the community,” said Mrs Korir.
However, Rift rivalry between Deputy President William Ruto and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi played out visibly as the leaders pushed for the election of Simon Chelugui who has dared dethrone Moi in the county’s senatorial seat.
“You (Baringo) should elect Chelugui who is in Jubilee in August elections and reject Moi who has failed you, “said Andrew Lang’at.
