Moiben member of parliament silas Tiren has called on the government to release  Nandi hills Mp Alfred Keter Unconditionally.

Hon keter was arrested on Friday dramatically with two of Desai industry bosses Arthur Sakwa and  Madat Chatur for claims of forging Treasury bills worth 633Millions  at the central Bank of Kenya premises  .

Speaking to the Media ,The legislator accused the government of silencing combative members of  parliament . Hon silas Tiren (Moiben ) ,Hon James Gakuya ( Embakasi North ), Hon Alfred keter ( Nandi hills )and  Hon Kibowen Kangogo ( Marakwet East ) had gone against jubilee party’s preferred list of chairpersons by choosing to vie for the positions instead ,only to be removed by votes of no confidence.

The legislator has expressed worries that with that trend of arrest the government might be blocking Mp’s  from the ruling party with varied opinions from rising their people’s grievances .

                “Ikiwa tutakuwa tunapikiwa moja moja hivi tutaelekea wapi na kazi yetu ni kuhakikisha wakenya wameweza kufanyiwa kazi kwa hivyo Leo ukiuliza jambo la wakenya kesho unakujakuulizwa ,Keter juzi inasemekana yeye ni gaidi kwa sababu alikataa kushuka ndo naona ameshikwa Leo nataka wakenya waambiwe tu kwa nini ameshikwa so that tuweze kujua.so tunataka Keter atolewe Na kama ako Na kesi apelekwe kortini.” Said silas Tiren .

The Mp’s sentiments was echoed by fellow rift valley leaders led by  Cherangany Member of parliament Joshua Kuttuny who visited Hon Keter in Muthaiga police station  who warned the government over disregard to the rule of law and further Adding that the Mp should be released.
