Dear Gov Stanley Kiptis;

On the chilly morning of 8/8/17, Kenyans went to the ballot to elect their leaders. We the people of Mogotio also took part in the important exercise. We overwhelmingly supported your bid for gubernatorial position and we confirmed it on that day.

We voted for you as Governor Baringo to the last man. We chose you among the best since we believed in you and had a great trust in your leadership. You took oath of office and after a couple of weeks,we saw your nominees for County Executive Committee Members. To our utter shock,we had only ONE nominee from the larger Mogotio Sub county.

We didn’t believe but since we wanted your government to run,we never went to court to stop it. A week later,County Officers were shortlisted,we had about 10 applicants from Mogotio Sub county shortlisted. Now that other sub counties have about 2 CECs,it is now my humble request and that of the rest of Mogotio Sub county people to request you for 3 COs slots out of the overall 15 slots. This will slightly cover up the shortfall we have in your cabinet as the Sub county .

We also feel and want to be part of your leadership, and as you indeed promised equitable distribution of resources,your statement should be attested to and corroborated by the above humble request. As to the County Secretary Position,it is upon you to identify the best suitable candidate from Mogotio and other sub counties. We will respect your decision on that.
