A group of youths under the banner vijana for Gidi have declared their support for Baringo senator Gideon Moi come 2022 general elections .

senator Moi  who has already showed interest for the presidency, made headlines with his latest move of meeting Machakos County Governor and Maendeleo chap chap leader  Alfred Mutua and later sharing the pictures with a caption ‘ comparing notes on the state of the nation and future of Kenya .’ which hinted a possible merger between the two.

With the youth assuring Moi’ s candidacy a full back up of North rift youths , Uasin Gishu youth president Paul Kipngetich   has come out to disown the statement by the youths terming it as  a fuss. The youth president in a statement on  his social handle  ,ruled out that the youths were not student drawn from Uasin Gishu county  but instead they were from Baringo county .

  “As ‘Northrift youth leaders ,we were shocked by fake utterance made by some hungry students all the way from Baringo County to just come and make a misleading political statement in Eldoret town that the Rift valley youths are behind Gedion Moi .

Mr Kipngetich further faults the Kenya television Network a company associated with the Moi ‘s family for pushing the  senator’ s presidential agenda  by running the youths press conference adding that the ‘genuine ‘Northrift and entire rift valley youths will unwaveringly support the Deputy president William Ruto’ s candidacy come 2022.

                     “KTN is Moi’ s family property and when you see such small groups getting the same media attention ,then the owner must have delegated duties to this small boys.”
