Baringo Central hopeful David Kerich has donated 70 blankets to Kabarnet Deaf and Blind school on Saturday pledging to support the school once elected in the August 8 ,2017 elecions.

Speaking on Saturday during school’s ‘Happy day celebrations’, Kerich said the special school has been neglected for years and it needs to be supported to allow the pupils studying in the school achieve their dreams.

“This school has not been receiving the support it deserves despite being a special school with special needs to the pupils and from today am a friend to this institution . If i will be elected we will see how will assist this school,”said Kerich .

Being a school of kids with disabilities, the school has been struggling to cater for the needs of children from across country.

He also lauded the efforts done by the school’s administration to educate the over 60 kids who need special attention.

“I would also want to appreciate this institution for initiating such a celebration where we come and make these kids happy by donating what we have and spending time with them,”added Kiplagat who is vying for Baringo Parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket.
