Controversial Baringo County Assembly speaker William Bill Kamket has hit on incumbent Tiaty constituency legislature Asman Kamama over his poor development record in the area.

The speaker who was speaking in Marigat criticized the leader for failing the constituency for decades.

Mr. Kamket during  the recent event attended by Senator Gideon to  endorse KANU nominated Member of County Assembly Mr. Charles Kamuren as KANU flag bearer for Baringo South noted that time for such leaders has lapsed .

He said  the local Member of Parliament failed promises to the people, should not be condoned and that there is need to elect fresh blood to the system.

‘‘ I sometimes fail to understand why a lazy leader like Kamama would want to be elected once more to represent our people in parliament. Mr. Kamama is only good in taking ‘‘Tusker’’ and ‘‘Mandazi’’ in Nairobi ,’’ said  Tiaty Constituency aspirant .

Kamket urged the Pokot community to support leaders with vision if Pokot  would get future leaders.

He publicly proclaimed that he is the second in command after West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo on matters of the community.

Mr. Kamket told off Jubilee party leaders that the area has suffered during their term and advised them to deliver all promises they gave during their campaigns.

Silale Ward MCA Nelson Lotela blamed some jubilee party leaders for advocating graft in the country.

‘‘ Some jubilee leaders like Senator Kipchumba Murkomen should desist fooling the people of Baringo.He has to clear with Kimalel Goat Auction debts of Ksh. 500,000 before bragging of jubilee rethorics ,’’ Lotela said at the event.

Senator Moi lauded  KANU overwhelming support saying the choice for the political outfit was well advised .

Mr. Moi stated that KANU is ready to rally behind with parties with interests geared to changing lives of Kenyans.

He added that the party is yet to declare its position in 2017 politics but maintained that corruption will not be given room at any outlay.

Over 2,000,000 shillings was raised at the funds drive to support women in Baringo South.
