Bomet Governor and Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) leader Hon Isaac Rutto has come out strongly to defend his party dignity.

The Governor took this step after what he said was insult from the top brass of the government, the governor came categorically to warn political pundits who insinuate funny names for his party “My party is Chama Cha Mashinani and not Chama Cha Mashimoni”

The governor who was speaking at Mogogisiek Sub County in Konoin Constituency also expressed confidence in his party saying it is the most popular party in the South Rift and he will use it to defend his gubernatorial seat.

Governor Rutto also named Geoffrey Langat who is currently the Chief of Staff in Bomet County to be his Deputy Governor in the run up for the general election this is after his former running mate Dr. Stephen Mutai choose to run against him.
