Baringo Central Parliamentary hopeful Eddy Koimet has promised the electorates that he will give Education sector priority if elected.

Koimet who is vying on a Kenya African National Union Party (KANU) told Rift News
the constituency requires a crop of leaders who can champion development in the area with education being one of the agenda.

“Among my priorities if elected is education sector since it has not been given the attention it deserves. I shall avail sufficient bursaries to all needy and deserving learners by increasing the percentage allocation to the maximum limit and completely eliminate dependancy on harambees,” said Koimet.

Mr. Eddy Koimet, an experienced educationist said the youth of today play an integral role in transforming the entire county and therefore enrolling them to join courses offered at technical institutes was ripe for the fast growing technological world.

“I will enhance access to vocational training for youth to acquire technical skills and empower them to be self reliant,” added Koimet.

He further said the youth deserve access to information having in mind that the world is embracing technology .

Koimet will be battling out with Jubilee’s David Kiplagat and Maendeleo Chap Chap Joshua Kandie in constituency seat.
