Governor Benjamin Cheboi , Women representative Grace Kiptui and all the six legislatures have been fully endorsed and funded to retain their seats.
In the latest meetings held in his home in Sugoi , the DP hand picked gubernatorial aspirant Simon Chelugui to face off the Baringo king pin Gideon Moi .
Mr. Ruto has also subscribed efforts of incumbent broke legislatures from the area who have been invited to Sugoi severally to reenergize them financially in the big fight to oust their own son Senator Gideon Moi.
Section of Members of County Assembly led by Barwessa ward representative Joseph Makilap has characterized the move by the DP as a major scheme to fight the rising popularity of Senator Gideon Moi .
Mr. Makilap has warned William Ruto to desist engaging in Baringo affairs and urged to respect their leader Gideon Moi who he claims he is the next President after Uhuru Kenyatta’s term .
‘’ Scheme by any quarter to finish Senator Gideon Moi politically is regrettable – he is there to stay .Baringo is supreme and should not be dictated on the choice of leaders to elect ,’’ Makilap reacted in a press briefing.
He urged the DP to rethink his move of dictating the locals during electioneering period if by any chance would ask presidency in future after Senator Gideon Moi.

” We are tired of Jubilee empty promises and rhetoric’s . Baringo people should not be swayed by William Ruto to sacrifice their son for his survival politically ,’’ the KANU MCA warned Baringo locals.
Sacho MCA Zachary Kipkuto, Saimo Kipsaraman Vincent Keror ,Nelson Lotella (Silale) Solomon Makal (Koloa) who criticized Ruto’s move said jubilee administration had failed to counter myriad challenges facing Baringo .
They mentioned insecurity as one of the issue the government has failed to tackle especially in prone areas where score of people have been left dead and majority displaced.
” It is high time the country should engage in development instead of politics while common Mwananchi is suffering .Leaders should not take advantage of problems facing the electorate to propel themselves politically ,’’ Silale MCA told Rift News.
