Former Redykyulass comedian turned politician John Kiarie famously known as KJ has won the Dagoretti South  parliamentary Jubilee Party nomination ticket.

KJ trounced the incumbent MP Dennis Waweru who had earlier indicated signs of going for the gubernatorial seat.

KJ who addressed the voters after the nomination had this to say “Thank you Dagoretti south indeed the voice of the people is the voice of God. I sincerely want to say a big thank you to all of you for your support, prayers and above all coming out in large number to vote.
