CHIEF AND THREE KENYA POLICE RESERVISTS (KPR) KILLED BY BANDITS IN LOMELO 

​Tension is high in Lomelo village in the border of Baringo and Turkana Counties after an area Chief and three other people were killed by Pokot raiders suspected to be from neighbouring Tiaty Sub county.  Confirming the incident, Baringo County Commissioner Peter Okwanyo said Pokot raiders raided Lomelo village today at around 10am killing four

​Tension is high in Lomelo village in the border of Baringo and Turkana Counties after an area Chief and three other people were killed by Pokot raiders suspected to be from neighbouring Tiaty Sub county. 

Confirming the incident, Baringo County Commissioner Peter Okwanyo said Pokot raiders raided Lomelo village today at around 10am killing four and going with hundreds of herds towards Suguta valley. 

Okwanyo said security have been deployed to area to pursue the criminals who are believed to be heading to Suguta valley. 

According to Joseph  Bulut, Deputy County Commisioner Turkana East the Turkanas from Kapedo  have retaliated and killed one Pokot.
