The gubernatorial race is shaping up, numbers narrowing and the giant of the race slowly but surely emerging. Who will carry the day?

The latest Infotrak Polls reveals that the incumbent Governor Isaac Rutto is on the lead but slightly followed by the deputy speaker of the national Assembly Joyce Laboso with a margin difference of 1%.

Governor Rutto of CCM has 38.9% and his fiercest competitor who is the Sotik MP, who doubles as National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Dr. Joyce Laboso got 37.7%. Despite the former Konoin MP Julius Kones’ argument of being the right candidate to trounce the incumbent, polls rate him at 7.3% making his charm a bit inoffensive.

Bomet governor though enjoying a wide popularity he has been captured on many occasion slamming Hon Laboso for being a government project and thus she has no agenda for the country.

The race is expected to heat up as the General Elections approach.
