After  a rally turned chaotic in Migori county, Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho has  lodged claims that there were plans to assassinate him.

The Governor who was in company of other ODM Party  members had attended a rally with an aim of pushing the re-election bid of Suna East MP, Junet Mohammed but soon the unexpected  happened when Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyongo drummed support for Mr. Otchillo who is aspiring for the gubernatorial seat being held by Hon Okoth Obado leading to rapture of melee.

According to a high placed source in the Mombasa  Governor’s  team the governor is safe and sound “#BreakingNews Governor Hassan Joho and Mvita MP Abudulswamad Sharrif Nassir survive assassination attempt in migori.”
