Laikipia County Senator and veteran politician Godfrey Gitahi Kariuki, famously known as G.G. Kariuki, is dead. G.G. Kariuki died Friday, June 30 morning at a Nairobi hospital aged 79. Reprieve for Susan Kihika as Court quashes decision to lock her out of Nakuru Senatorial race0

Nakuru Senatorial aspirant on Jubilee ticket Susan Kihika today received a reprieve after the High Court ruled that Political Parties Tribunal erred and acted against the law by barring her from contesting for the seat. On his ruling , Justice George Odunga said that the tribunal had no jurisdiction to hear and determine the matter.
