Friends of Sunrise Children’s Home will be visiting Sunrise Children’s Home, Kabarnet Baringo County on 23rd December to hold a Christmas celebration day for the children.
The intention of the visit is to raise funds for major sustainability project for the home, cater for school fees and also celebrate Christmas with the kids. Sunrise Children’s home which is fully dependant on well wishers for 45 kids who are orphaned and abandoned their parents.
Charles Kipkulei who is the association chair appealed to well wishers to come and celebrate Christmas with the home as it is the reason for the season.
“Friends of Sunrise is calling upon well wishers to support the home through material, moral and spiritual support as we plan to visit the home this December. I also appeal to everyone join us in visiting the home,” said Kipkulei.
He said over the last ten years they have contributed cash, clothing, food, toys, stationery and school uniforms to the children to enable them enjoy Christmas like other children.
“In the spirit of compassion, coming together and sharing, we have launched “THE 10 DAYS OF GIVING FOR SUNRISE” because we have to make it bigger and better guided by our goal of bringing sunshine to sunrise,”added Kipkulei.
