Five dead among them a child in a grisly accident that occurred on Friday evening in notorious Salga in Nakuru County. 
According to police the bus belonging to easy coach from western Kenya was overtaking when it collided head-on with a Prestige Shuttle matatu headed to Kisumu. 
Majority of the passengers in the bus were students who were heading home after closing school for holiday. 
Regional Traffic Enforcement Officer Joseph Muthee confirmed that four adults and a child were killed in the crash.
The injured were rushed to Nakuru Level Five and Molo Sub-County hospitals.
