Baringo leaders throng home of late Maji Mazuri ward Member of County Assembly Peter Kagathi to condole with his family eulogizing him as an astute leader who placed interests of the electorate at heart. 
The legislators who visited the MCA’s family in Maji Mazuri town ,Eldama Ravine on Saturday said the family has lost a great  pillar and a voice to reckon with in his ward an the entire county. 
The leaders led by Baringo Women Rep Grace Kiptui said the untimely death of MCA has robbed the county a leader who was dedicated to his job and never entertained ill vices in the society.  
” Kagathi was a brave leader who represented his Kikuyu community well in the county assembly and he will be highly remembered for fighting against the marginalization of his Kikuyu community in the county.” Said the legislature. 
Gubernatorial aspirant Simon Chelugui who is also Betting and Licensing board Chairperson 

said the county have lost a leader who strongly fought corruption and advocated for  his community to get title deeds. 
Michael Kimani, a neighbor to the late MCA described him as a leader who played a pivotal role in development such as hospital, roads and water projects . 
Peter Kagathi succumbed to high blood pressure last week at  a Nakuru hospital. He will be buried next week on Saturday in his home Maji Mazuri.
