North rift leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto will today tour Elgeyo Marakwet Baringo borders following the skirmishes among warring Marakwet and Pokot communities. 

So far the clashes that have led to 16 people losing their lives, scores injured and thousands displaced in Kerio valley which are said to be fuelled by politicians.  
The peace caravan is led by Deputy President William Ruto, Governors ,Senators and Members of Parliament will kick off in Tot,  Elgeyo Marakwet then Kolowa in Baringo County .
Rift Valley Coordinator Wanyama Musiambo  issued a stern warning to perpetrators saying the law will catch up with them saying the government will conduct a disarmament exercise in the troubled border. 
This comes even as Elgeyo Markwet Police commander Sharif Abdallah was transferred over the ethnic clashes . Kajiado’s Tom Odera is the new county police boss.
